As a kid who went to a JC (because he dropped out of another school, it was the only option), it depends. The education you get at college the first two years when you are accumulating your credit hours in all the basic stuff may be better at a four year school but in most cases is not. However, the social aspect of going someplace all four years is what I miss now that I am older.
I can empathize what Boorman went through. Misdiagnosed with a terminal illness, there was about 6 weeks of my life I thought I was going to be a goner.
